The Kansas City real estate market is holding steady this fall with a healthy mix of activity and opportunity. Homes are spending about 39 days on the market, an 8.3% increase from last year, which means buyers have a little more time to make decisions.

The average sales price rose 1.9% to $371,531, showing that values remain strong. Sellers are still receiving about 97% of their original asking price, while inventory climbed 8.7% to 8,536 homes—a welcome boost for buyers.

With a 2.7-month supply of homes and closed sales up 13.2%, the market continues to move, just at a steadier pace.

If you’re thinking about buying or selling, let’s talk about what these numbers mean for your goals. I can help you make a confident move in today’s Kansas City market.
